the most difficult part when taking photos of bamboo is the

composition, I think. Since bamboo comes in all sizes, height and

width, in groups, with our without leaves you have to make a decision

on composition. In this photo I tried to go for shape and colors.

===nicely done with a difficult subject, Juergen. Wonder how a wide angle shot would look ? I have a similar photo, except the bamboo is very dark green. Capturing the mood in a bamboo forest would be very difficult, very little light gets to the forest floor!!

No tripod and no flash - why do we do these things?
