It was shot with a 1.4X II Canon TC on the 400 mm DO lens, IIRC, at an aperture around 5.6 and a shutter speed of 30. Your comments are welcome. Thanks Link to comment
ictalurus 0 Posted September 24, 2004 The contrast on the heron's head kind of bothers me. I think lowering the contrast would help there and with all the white specks on the shore behind him - even if some of the detail is lost in the reflection. 5/5 Link to comment
nabs 0 Posted May 23, 2005 I dunno whats the problem with the photo and what background you are talking about. It looks absolutely fine to me. Its a striking the photo and i like it. Yeah, theres a bit of a glare from the body of the heron but thats not a problem at all. Very good photo here. 6/6 Link to comment
