technicaly, Im impressed by this realistic painting aspect, Im not sure but i think you have used an other picture used as a layer on your original... in this case what sort of pic could it be...?

aesthetically, I like the posture, in the yellow light opposed to that strange form

I use mulitple images as layers but then I treat every layer in various programs for various effects. The background image here (believe it or not) is an image of leaves on the floor. I then used Painter Pro to create a painting like effect of those leaves. It is a complicated process and very time consuming but I adore the results.
