eachica 0 Posted September 22, 2004 I find capturing people through photo to be quite a challenge. I'm always trying to improve upon my technique. Does this crop work? Thanks for comments and suggestions. Link to comment
simonpg 2 Posted September 22, 2004 Nice idea. Too much light on her nose; closeness to that lens distorts her face too much; compose with the moth in or out but not cut off like that. Link to comment

elwin_estle 0 Posted February 7, 2005 I think this is the best shot in your portrait portfolio. I don't know as you need the mouth, looks fine to me the way it is. About the only thing is that I wish the eyes were a bit sharper. Link to comment
eachica 0 Posted February 7, 2005 It works for me too. Yes I wish her eyes were a bit more detailed but she really does have that dark of eyes. They are almost black... honestly. Link to comment
michaelhills 0 Posted February 25, 2005 Erin, I like the way you have cropped the composition. Yes, the nose is a little over blown, and yes it might have been better to include more of her mouth and yes, perhaps the eyes need more clarity - however, the impact of the shot remains very strong. It grabbed me when I first viewed your portfolio. Good stuff. M Link to comment
