You've used the lines of the railroad tracks (and the extension of the railroad cars) to draw the viewers' eyes through the horizon, you've placed the subject off center, and essentially framed this photo well. However, I'm interested if you've cropped off the freight cars in the background halfway, and whether it would be better compositionally if you had included to the top of the freight cars or cut them off entirely instead of cropping (or framing) them to the middle. Next time (if there is one) you might try including just a little more in your raw image (or one or your raw images) just to leave the cropping choice open, if you did not in this instance. I've experienced similar issues myself and regretted my own tight cropping at times. Regards for a very good image. John. Link to comment
