eachica 0 Posted September 19, 2004 Do you still get a feeling a size with this crop? This spider is quite big but completely harmless to humans which made it easier on my nerves to shoot. Link to comment
joao sa 0 Posted September 21, 2004 Maybe with less reflex on the background it look a little better. Link to comment
eachica 0 Posted September 21, 2004 Are you suggesting the reflection of the flash on the background? I think I see what you mean. This type of spider has a golden web, hence the name, Golden Orb Spider. Unfortunately where this bugger was located (underneath my stairwell) light was very poor and my shots without the flash were much too dark. I think the reflection you are seeing is the flash reflecting off the golden web, which I'm not sure if I could have done anything about. Does anyone have any suggestions for future? Link to comment
beaz 0 Posted November 16, 2004 This one is an eye-catcher. I like the way the legs both divide and hold together the space. The position entering the frame makes it more dynamic as well. Link to comment
eachica 0 Posted November 16, 2004 Thanks Jerry. I appreciate your kind remarks. She was a big one... that's for sure. Link to comment
kevin teachey 0 Posted January 6, 2005 great macro with an interesting crop. Overrides my usual disdain for any creature whose skeleton is on the outside of its body ;) Link to comment
eachica 0 Posted January 7, 2005 Yeah... she gave me the hebe-jeebees while taking the shot. ;) Link to comment
