jerrymat 5 Posted November 20, 2004 Perhaps you just love the moment it helps you recall - that is an important roll of any snapshot. But why love it as a photo? It is blurry, even the main subject. The glaring ceiling lights interfer with the main subject. Compositionally it is a near disaster with the head so central. Link to comment

I love this shot because of exactly what it is, a shot of a person relaxing and enjoying a cigarette...maybe its just that I've seen this particular scene played out so many times, but to me this shot has captured a moment in life, and as such is fantastic...far from being a snapshot, it seems more documentary to me, very sponteneous...
