ajpn 0 Posted September 16, 2004 Version two, which was actuallt taken before version one, but since version one came first, I'll call this version 2. Hmm.... very curious... Link to comment

root 0 Posted September 16, 2004 Great shot! I'd like to read about this event, if you can point me to a web site or to your own description elsewhere. Link to comment
ajpn 0 Posted September 16, 2004 Burning Man Not sure what all they have on the site about this year, but they have archives from years past. It really is an incredible thing to experience. Link to comment

ajpn 0 Posted September 17, 2004 I'm talking about the Burning Man website. The website that explains this event Els. This is a week-long gathering that takes place in the Nevada desert. I've heard it referred to as the largest art gallery in the world. A festival of self expression. Link to comment
bekster 0 Posted September 17, 2004 This is a very cool shot... I have heard of burning man about 10 years ago from some folks who did some four-wheeling combined with the event. Glad you were there so I could see this... Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted September 17, 2004 This earned a 7/7 from me. The image is highly creative like something that came out of Hollywood. I would call it a 22nd century photograph of life on Planet Earth. Well done. Link to comment
micheleberti 0 Posted September 17, 2004 Great perspective! Beautiful composition, congrats. Link to comment
ellie designs 0 Posted September 17, 2004 I like this version better, it has a great open feeling, beautiful :-) Link to comment
ajpn 0 Posted September 17, 2004 What do you think about something like this Alec? Thanks everyone for the positive feedback. Link to comment
vishwa 0 Posted September 18, 2004 a 7/7 in my book had it a vertical format. More of the sky with less of the over-exposed left of the image. While it is hard to control the exposure on the left, a vertical would have made it better. A tight framing around the structures in the middle along the horizontal axis with a more expansive sky would be perfect IMHO. Link to comment
ajpn 0 Posted September 18, 2004 Then you would have either too much sky, or too much foreground. Doesn't work. And you lose many of the things that I think make this image interesting. Square maybe, but that contradicts the triangles IMO. Thanks for your input. =) Link to comment
allonkira 0 Posted September 18, 2004 Excellent perspective in this surreal image, great work, Anthony!! Cheers, allon. (7/7) Link to comment

u1664877251 0 Posted September 18, 2004 I must say that out of the two very similar versions i like this the best. Also I prefer your 'dim' colours to the saturated suggestion in the notes as the 'hazy morning' mood of the shot is lost in that one. Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted September 19, 2004 Really like the depth and the dust adds so much to it. Congratulations. Link to comment
