My mommy

What do you think of this alternative portrait? Does it works for you? Impact? It was taken in camera with a macro lens and two 550EX flash units lighing mommy's face. No after-the-facts manipulation.

It's been done similarly many times, but with much manipulation and fx work. That you captured this so perfectly with no tricks...I am astounded! *applause* Wonderful clarity and depth of field!

Sorry for the lack of comments here (I usually try to honestly critique) but this once is just amazing.

 

I'm sure your mom must be proud! (unless she could not care less about the technical qualities).

 

Have your tries this in B/W? I have a hunch that might be even more impressive.

i think it could be better if u would have taken the reflections at the right side away...and if the reflected person would be photographed in a different angle

Idea isn't new, but capture is amazing. I've never seen anything done so good in this area.
