My Baby

While taking a few pictures to put into the Baby's Album I tried

experminting with some shadows on T-max film, Here is one of the

results.

I'm all about moody, dramatic lighting at times...but I don't imagine you wanted your baby to look dark and moody. This is a bit eerie...the darkness combined with that smile is just odd. If the expression was not a smile, I think this would work better. Also, this image is huge...I've found that 72DPI around 5-7 inches works well for screen viewing here.

I agree with Jill on several points. I think the shadows are fine but the blue tone is bad, I'd use Sepia instead to warm the photo up. Also the uploaded image is too huge! It doesn't fit on my screen, and thus is difficult to appreciate as a whole composition.
