It's a shame that you couldn't find a more photogenic apple. The dimples draw more attention than I'd like.

 

It's a shame that alar isn't used anymore. Strong chemicals made for good looking apples. (even if there was a chance that they could cause cancer)

Considering your tech notes I would really like to know how you did this.

Original idea and nicely executed. The image caught my attenetion and made me wonder how it was done - yes I did think PS at first before I read your tech notes. I also think the title is very appropiate.
