When I took this picture, I was interested in the fly that landed

before me on the table, but I don't know if that's what it really is.

I mean, the fly is almost insignificant, compared to the rest of the

picture. I like this picture, but I really can't say if I can say

it's a "fly portrait" or not. Comments?

I really like the shot, but barely notice the fly. I notice more the distance and varying focus of the point of taking the shot, and the woman on the other side. Even though you're both at the same table, she looks so far away and distance, that it almost insinuates relationship distance in a normally close environment, ie the dinner table. I also started thinking about taking loved ones for granted, and getting into such a routine that even seemingly special occasions, or just sharing a meal, are abused by distance and tension.

Definately more thought provoking than probably intended, but that's just my view. Well done
