This has to be one of my favorites shot's I've taken of my wife;

though she was just my fiancee at the time. This was taken at the

foot of the Sakurajima volcano in her town of Kagoshima.

I can see why this is a favourite. I wish my family album was this good.

I think it is dangerous to let people know that you like a picture..... because when it gets slated... it can hurt!

I like the way your wife was playing with the water.At first I thought it were soap suds but then probably soap are prohibited in this place.

I'm just curious. Do you take a shower first before you get into this Springs? Thanks for sharing,because of the photographers like you I can see places.

 

Great shot. I like the stop action water. I wonder how it would have looked if she was faced the other way looking into the frame towards the other person and the structure.

There's just something about this picture. I think its seducing me. I keep coming back to it. Maybe its the warmth, maybe I'm trying to imagine what the view looking down over the mountains is like, or maybe the play of water over your wife's legs. Maybe its all those things. I just want to drown in this composition...

I, too, kept getting drawn to this photo. It's a fabulous shot and the colours are phenomenal.

It is the blue and the gold. It is the composition. Most of all, though, it is the smile, the action of her fingers, the concentration on what she is doing - playing in the water. I'm sure that all of us seeing this picture are feeling some of that golden light on our own face. I did not know a mood like this were still in this world.
