Hey Eliot, the light is nice but the picture would be much stronger if you cropped out all the dead space and moved in more on the subjects, probably in a vertical position.

Focus issues?

 

I've had the same problem. For me, it was too much dependence on the auto-focus feature of my camera, or forgetting to switch to spot-focus (but that's just me - lazy..Plus I get nervous shooting weddings.) I agree with Z - increasing the DOF might help, too.

 

It's a nice moment - I agree with cropping out the R side, maybe bringing up the arm?
