buggzz 0 Posted September 3, 2001 I find the reflections of the red car a little distracting, but still a great image. Maybe a reshoot with a polarizer, unless someone has already taken this honey home. Quote Link to comment
amy_hoy 0 Posted September 4, 2001 I like the reflections. I love close-up pictures of old cars, they're simply so beautiful, and this one is a nice example (of a photograph). Everything in the era of this car was shiny, so why shouldn't it be? :) PS - as I read your catch line to draw people in "Thanks for viewing!," I was thinking to myself, "Thank you, drive through!" and was highly amused when it turned out the picture was of a car. buggzz 0 Posted September 4, 2001 Oh I also think that this is a great shot, the reflections are just a little discongrous. Looks like a red 70ish mustang on the right and possibly the back end of a mid sixties Buik Riviera on the left. Not the kinda reflections that look right on the hood of a 50'ish Plymouth. If you must have reflections, make them anything but other cars. I wouldn't mind the upper branches of an oak silhouetted against the sky or an old red and white Texaco star sign. I just find the Bright red car on the right a little too much. Could be worse, My shots allways seem to have a big reflection of me right in the center. Great shot, just my $.02 Quote Link to comment
