I think you have captured the scene really well and not been impatient, and gone home just after the sun had gone under the horizon. Well worth waiting for and the pic just makes you want to go to Kakado to experience it yourself. It would be a great picture to hang on my wall here in cold England.

'Red' is one picture of a series of three (Blue, Yellow and Red) from

my folder 'A day in Kakadu'.

 

Kakadu National Park is situated in the Northern Territory of

Australia. It is an area of stunning natural beauty, and of great

cultural significance for Aboriginal people. However, it is

threatened because Uranium and other precious ores are found in the

region.

 

All comments or suggestions are appreciated.

This is a lovely photo, but I personally think the ground and the sky are too even- I would like to see it with a little more sky, less ground, or the other way around. :)
