wilsontsoi 0 Posted September 6, 2004 Hi, Ken. I like this color version better than the previous b&w. Looks like you either have a favorite window in the house to shoot by, or alway have a huge light box in a similar position. BTW, yeah, where did that one egg go? (let go my eggo?) ^_^ Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted September 7, 2004 Lou Ann - glad you like it - me too - $3 bucks at the 2nd hand store - cool ! ... Hans - thank you sir - right as usual - about the eggg ...... (-; Kim - glad you enjoy it - Recently *hollared* out a dozen brown egggs - hoping to use them more in the future. Glad you like the color Bente - caught my eye too. And 2 egggs for me please - keeps my endurance up .... ! Cristina - the missing eggg - yes. It represents the one missing thing in all our lives - that which we seek - the Grail perhaps. The 'thing' varies from person to person but it is something we all share in common. That in our lives - something is missing - something could be better ... Hello Wilson - glad you took the time. Roughly 9 out of 10 times most people prefer the color versions ....... B&W is a hard sell compared to color generally speaking - is one reason Vincent Tylor has only one B&W Hawaiian shot in his folio . I am glad that like me - you seem to enjoy both versions Wilson ... Igor - that was the nicest thing you ever said to me ............ (-; Link to comment
k c 0 Posted September 7, 2004 Oh, this is my favorite tin man picture so far... By the way, I'm wondering how you think about taking some pictures with an old typewriter in your magic studio... Just a thought which I cannot materialize in my level with the lighting in my apartment. Link to comment
vincetylor 0 Posted September 7, 2004 "B&W is a hard sell compared to color generally speaking - is one reason Vincent Tylor has only one B&W Hawaiian shot in his folio cause I badgered him to do it." Yep, that and the Yosemite one you did badger me on. Getting Bob to post again was another badger. Hmmm.... Keep it up! The aesthetics on this one are outstanding. Your original ideas are always great. Well maybe not always... Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted September 8, 2004 Mine or yours ... ? What an interesting thought Hanna ............ Perhaps I'm recreating images from from a past life's memory .... Vincent I agree - certainly not always ........ And of course you know what my dog's name is -- ............. badger .... ok ok - sometimes we call her badgey wadgey. Lou Ann I appreciate that very much -- and I like the new one too ........... I am currently formulating a joke connected to the Element Symbols shown in the background ... ! Kasey - An excellent idea and I've had my eye on them for sometime. The least expensive one's I've seen are around $25 -- or -- talk Michael into finally moving up to an *electric* typewritter and we can just use his ... (-; Link to comment
