samuel_parker 0 Posted September 4, 2004 What stikes me most about this piece is the remarkable movement. The convergence of the clouds, the framing of the trees, even the lighting seem to draw the eye to the mountain. A very well defined subject makes this a very strong image. Link to comment
martin_paul 0 Posted September 4, 2004 This is really amazing. The saturation is very high, not that I don't like that. Well done! Link to comment
bobby douglas 0 Posted September 4, 2004 I'm glad you like it, I did get very lucky on the sky but I had been in the area for 2 weeks and already had scoped out the shot. Many more still to come from the same fall trip. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 5, 2004 extremely pretty, beautiful, all those adjectives. forgive me but its too balanced too composed for me. The only thing missing is a magestic animal grazing in the field. Knicki Link to comment

aristeidis 0 Posted September 5, 2004 The only reason why I gave 5 for originality is because it is one of many landscapes I have seen in photo.net, but the aesthetics had to be 7 as it is probably the most magnificent of them all! The detail is unparallel. Please, share the technical details of the shot with us. f/?,?s,filter? Link to comment
1000wordsphotography 0 Posted September 5, 2004 Too beautiful for words! Great sky... I can't believe I am going to actually make a suggestion on one of your shots, but something in me wants to crop a bit off the bottom of this and bring the peak down in the shot just a smidge. Still.... one incredible photo. Link to comment
derek_scott 0 Posted September 6, 2004 It is this perfection that inspires and makes me strive to be better with every roll I shoot. My favorite time of year. This is just glorious. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted September 6, 2004 Bobby, I'm glad to see your stuff again on PN. Terrific color here and an beautiful sky. It's amazing what a 4x5 can do in the right hands. My only criticism is with what seems to be some hypersharpening--and I may be just not seeing this right. Link to comment
