philg 0 Posted August 26, 2001 This kind of perspective is often interesting. In this particular image I think it would have been better to pull down the power on the fill-flash. The lighting looks a bit unnatural. Quote Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 26, 2001 Fill flash is a little bright. Was it off camera? Anyway, you should be proud to have greenspun comment on your photo. Quote Link to comment
mark jones 0 Posted August 26, 2001 Thank you very much for your comments especialy yours Mr. Greenspun. I do Have one without flash. I thought the flash got rid off shadows around the eyes and brighten's up the face. What do you think? Quote Link to comment

critter 0 Posted September 22, 2001 the fill flash is a bit overblown. Have her unlock her left knee - overall she's a bit self conscious. I hate the background, but I like the angle/perspective. the title is "before a night out" so I imagine your mind saw beauty and wanted to document it- which is what comes across. Unfortunately, the snapshot style doesn't add to the subject, but rather detracts. I'd like to see you spend a few hours with her dressed up and considering how to translate the outfit/attitude into an image with impact that focuses the impulse you felt to press the shutter. Keep shooting. Quote Link to comment
