Bridge over stream

Any critique will be appreciated

The sun seems very harsh and there is a little too much going on for my taste. It certainly looks like a nice place to photograph. I would try to concentrate on one element. Just my unprofessional opinion, however. chris

Beautiful settings, the fence draws the eye into the picture nicely, but something is missing... The subject in the stream of light perhaps?

If that spot is accessible to you still, try shooting it closer to sunrise/sunset. That will deepen the color, the shadows, and lessen the hotspots.

 

Also try making the tree or the fence a bit more prominent. Don't obscure the scenery, but allow the viewer to ground themselves on something in the foreground and to "explore" the background.
