stephen f 0 Posted September 1, 2004 I find it a straightforward shot of a simple object. Nothing spectacular, yet still pleasing. Here are some thoughts to improve it. Soften the overhead light by shooting through white fabric. This will drop out the annoying shadow and clean up the overall shape. I would also play with white and black cards placed appropriately to reflect off the metal which will add shape and additional tonality. You can also try using some colored lights or refelctors to add some additional interest. You have the basic start of a very good photograph with some additional work. joao sa 0 Posted September 1, 2004 I used photoshop, but the original photo is very close to this one. Just used it to reduce (a little) of blue-white gradient caused by the paper sheet used in the background. Link to comment
