ada-ipenburg 0 Posted September 1, 2004 Very creative. Look so simple, but you have to get the idea. And it works. 6/6 Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted September 1, 2004 It caught my eye Pitman. I think the red needs to be smoother. If that is not possible then the 'nap' of the material needs to run purely horizontal. I would have adjusted the lighting to make the shadow a little higher in the frame. Good one! Link to comment
pitman 0 Posted September 1, 2004 Thanks David, yes i did notice the red lines after i uploaded. The shadow i was thinking maybe a horizontal one as its ment to be sunset. ill experiment. :) Link to comment
dave_nitsche 0 Posted September 2, 2004 Pitman, Nice idea. I would also get the shadow a bit higher in the box. No much though. I would also get some distance between the subject and background and get the DOF correct to blur the BG a bit. If you dont' want to go that route use a noise reduction program (like Neat Image) and that will remove the fabric weave. Or: By some matte paper to use as a BG OR pain a piece of foam core matte red or what ever color. When all is said, I like this image. It shows some real originality being employed... pitman 0 Posted September 2, 2004 Hey thanks Dave :) I was afraid that a perfect flat smooth red background would be too bland so i left the pattern there. Ill have to try it out and see. thanks for dropping by :) Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted September 9, 2004 Interesting living room you have - red walls and blue smoke detectors ............ probably popular with the chicks - eh ? (-; Link to comment
pitman 0 Posted October 4, 2004 Thanks Jayme, i was showing my friend at work that you can take pictures of anything lying around. I picked up a mouse mat and a heatsink and clicked away, then i thought "wow this could work" lol, so i took them home with me. :) Link to comment
