Direction

Great light and feeling here, and some mystery too. This is much nicer than debate #2 IMHO. The only strengthening needed is to cut the right side, just into the last persons robe, stopping the eye from escaping out and thus keeping our eye in the scene much longer. Blessings, MS.

You are absolutly right. The original image was completely uncropped. This cropped version emphasises the natural light on the central monk to a greater extent. Thanks for the comment

lighting is what "makes" this photo, which emphasizes the pointing

monk.
