I like this because it puts man/mankind in a more realistic perspective than we sometimes like to think of ourselves. It's a captivating image.

Thanks a lot for your comments. Taken over 2000 mts close to Ghento Lake, at Aigues Tortes-Sant Maurici National Park (Lleida, Spain), in a deserted mining area. Thanks to my girlfriend, too, who resist 2 hours climbing from the bottom of the valley. Best regards :)

I like it very much, as it has already been pointed out, due to the fantastic use of space. This is not the typical mountain picture. I see somebody having a walk, and it just happens to be at the mountains. I really like the light, how you used it to separate both parts of the image, and how the person stands out, invading the dark background area, thanks to that light.

I cannot say anything interesting on the negative side, so I'll just shut up :)

Regards,

Thanks again for your comments. Andrei, the rails you can see belong to a mining industry constructed a lot of years ago (1912) in these summits. Following the rails, where workers were carried at that time, there are some tunnels that lead to Ghento Lake (2142 mts). This place makes oneself feel seriously dizzy. Best regards :)

This is my kind of image! I am typically not a fan of shots w/ people in them, but if they are, I love the obscure ones like this. 7/7!

PS since you've done some work in PS already, if there's one thing that I might suggest: the mountain has taken a blue tone... perhaps that what you want; everyone's tastes are different. Anyway, load it again in PS and load the curves tool (Ctrl-M)... make sure the "Preview" box is checked. Then in the drop down box, select the "Blue" channel only and go the center crosshairs and drag it down a bit torwards the bottom right. Just a little bit and that mountain you may find it a bit less pronounced.

Thanks once again. Christian, I usually use PS for basic adjustments only on lightness, saturation and sharpness, in order to achieve the more realistic approach to what I saw. On this image I decreased saturation of the whole scene just trying to avoid at some extent this "blue shadow". Your suggestion would work but I prefer not to change colour channels unless it was a whole turning to sepia or B/W. Anyhow, thanks and best regards :)
