Boris, if you don't know, Photo.net changed since several month the rating scale from 5 to 10 levels. Otherwise, your scoring and your comments are inconsistent.

The angle not being quite straight on and the contrast elevates this photo from dead plain into something really quite good.

Not sure I like the effect of a wide-ish angle lens. Also can the photographer say what's happened at the bottom of the frame? Looks like it has been blurred in developing (on my computer anyway). Is the shutter on the right out of focus?

Thanks for the comments. I'm not sure about the bottom of the frame either - on the original transparency it just appears to be the effect of deep shadow - and I liked the way it added to the slightly surreal look and helped concentrate attention on the centre.
