eric_klaszus 0 Posted August 27, 2004 I love the composition and most of the lighting....i am not sure about the bright spot on the bottom....must be the pier of the bridge...if there could be some way of getting that out, it would be stellar! The lighting on the side of the bridge itself is perfect as it is lit so strongly from the side. The way the lines are moving in the picture are very captivating and interesting. You did a great job. dwm1953 0 Posted August 27, 2004 I like the composition - the curvature of the road from corner to corner, the angle of the shot - not too certain about the subject matter however. Lighting is problematic, another time of day may have worked better. You did a good job of holding the highlights, but the shadows are completely blocked. Your color balance is off - a bit toward yellow. Contrast is a bit flat. A distraction in lower left corner. Here is a version with less yellow, more saturation, contrast adjustment, and distraction cropped off at bottom, for your consideration... Link to comment
carl6 0 Posted August 27, 2004 i really lvoe the pictures...i agree with the fact that the bright spot doenst really help the picture but for the rest..i have nothing to say.. 6/6 in my book Link to comment
andy e 1 Posted September 7, 2004 This is the strongest of the three highway shots, in my opinion. The strong geometry of the off-ramp sign and the contrasting colors of both signs against the sky is excellent. I'd try to see if you can a little more detail out of the shadows on the underside of the ramp, but its definitely nice work. Link to comment
ramthakur 0 Posted September 9, 2004 I like the picture as it is; David's enhancement does not make it any better. Thanks for commenting on mine, Bob. Link to comment
