pnital 36 Posted September 3, 2004 Hi Ken, I'm glad to "see" you here.I do a series of works that is called " follow the light" it is done in an old house that has a very special light coming in, especialy in late afternoon.what you see is not manipulated, I have only to spote the right corners at a certain time, the rest is the light.... and correct exposure....I hope it answers your question. jmcconnell2 0 Posted September 21, 2004 Your painting experience shows in this first-rate composition. I like this lay-out, everything leads to the lady. 7/7 Link to comment
mg 0 Posted February 11, 2005 I like the set-up here... Her pose is ok, a bit stiff perhaps, but ok. I'd prefer this taken with a longer lens from a further distance, so as to minimize distortions on the painting. Table cloth long on one side and short on the other one seems awkward... pnital 36 Posted February 11, 2005 About taking it from a distance, there were the limitation of the room, The perspective of the photo on the wall was corrected when I have enlarged and printed it.Thanks Link to comment

deniselanterman 0 Posted December 8, 2006 Pnina, you've created a very masterful and painterly image. Only her clothes date the image. The setting, her face, the tones, could be a painting by an Old World Master. Absolutely stunning. Regards. Denise Link to comment

sideris 0 Posted April 13, 2008 Who is she? The camera is in love with her. A deeply pensive facial expression, she is intelligent, she like to be a protagonist of the context, and this fact is so evident, as is evident the complicity with the photographer. The light and tonal range are perfect, the composition as well. But the most remarkable fact is the concept. I mean, the successful intent of a feeling outcropping from the image. I love it. A series for the memory. P.S. I am here too ;-D) Link to comment
