The image is sharp and pleasent, but I find the sky a bit off-putting... did you consider removing it completely? Cheers, s.

Thanks for your comment. I concur. It is a bit distracting and it doesn't add to the picture. And I did consider cropping it out but I decided not to just to give viewers a sense of place. It obviously isn't working :)

Dharmesh, all your pictures are great, can you increase the size of the picture? This one is awesome, except the sky.

I have cropped out the (distracting) sky and have also increased the image size :)

It looks like a tough place to get just the right angle, but I think yours works better.

Using a 35mm film SLR with a super wide angle lens helps.

 

I saw Gregory's pic. ( http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=1652484) and my guess is that even though a super wide angle lens was used to take the picture, the digital 1.6x magnification factor kicked in for the digital camera.
