The texture, detail and composition are super. I really like the radiator, I think I'd have to do some macros of that radiator! Where did you find this neat old truck? car?

Like this one better. Much easier to understand, nice texture and composition. Lighting is very harsh but shows off detail very well.

Jayme, I was driving down route 29 in NJ and this old truck was just sitting in the grass totally forgottten. The grass belonged to a truck repair shop. So I stopped and went click, click.

I like it, too, especially the scratched "sold" you can barely make out on the windshield.

I like the composition and how it seems to focus on old and worn. I like the 'sold' a lot too.

Hi Howard! I like this a lot (haven't had a chance yet to look at the other). The texture, as mentioned above, really makes this image look perfectly in context with the old truck. Did you intentionally clip the right end of the windshield? (That's being WWAAAYYY picky, I know!) Actually, I like the close crop for everything else that it does for this imge. Was the texture achieved by some filter in photoshop?

 

By the way, I might have captioned this "Sold", as that is my personal favorite part of this shot. :-D

...poor truck! Howard, I like the effect. Crop a bit off top and left would strengthen the composition, I think.

Good picture, top of image off a bit caused by the "white on white" from the picture framing and looking a bit oversharpened or overprocessed but still nice.....

Somehow it works for me just fine!
