Field of battle - After

This photo was taken 2 weeks after the previous image, from exactly

the same spot. I was surprised to see the band of red (poppies) in

the distance.

A strong image - I love the colours and the bold diagonals.

Comparing this to the other shot I'll state the obvious and say the poppies add a nice element to the shot. In addition, this shot appears clearer too. Whether this is from camera settings or atmospheric causes I don't know. I do perfer this image.

I like your style, kind of minimalism (?), I`m no art expert. Comparing Before / After, I would prefer this one. Interesting to see the effect of different lighting (mist ? cloudy versus sunny ?), thanks for the background information.
