lighting storm at the beach

......Goes the hair on the back of my neck when I remember the last time I took lightining pictures by water. You have big "potatoes" for trying a shot like this, lightning and bodies of water are Dane-ger-rous. Great shot though, I know what you mean by the only good one in the bunch delema.

don´t worry, I was safe. The lighting was striking veeeeeeery far, the mount you can see in the picture is more than 10 Km away and the lighting was much farther. Other days the storms were closer but as it was raining I opted no to go shooting to avoid being the target of anybody shooting down.

There are no words that can describe this picture.

This is a not so great exposed lightning picture - how come the high grades?
