How can I achieve a better zoom effect? What aperture speed shoul I

use?

You might try leaving the whole photo in focus and use a lower shutter speed, such as 1/8, to blur the water.

Also, you could use a fill-in flash to soften the water (?)

Thank you Jason and Dan for the comments and ideas. I never thought before to use a doble exposure and the zoom effect. Realy good idea.

I will try this one on my next shots.
