"The event, Take the Capital by storm, will be presented in the City of Québec for the third time on July 31, and August 1 2004. In 1998, the year of the last edition, more than 110 000 people went to the Plains of Abraham to attend this event. For two days, more than 1 500 reenactors will recreate and bring back to life one of the most memorable moments of the American War of Independence and the Canadian military history : the American invasion of 1775 and 1776.In the hope of winning over the residents of the Province of Quebec to their cause against Great Britain, and prevent the British troops from being replenished using the St. Lawrence River, in 1775, the American revolutionaries launched a military campaign against their northern neighbour, whose ultimate goal was to take Québec, the capital city of the province. It is this attempt that will be reenacted during the Take the Capital by storm event"So this is where this photo come from.
