Glorious Niagra

Not the most natural looking shot of Niagra Falls but somehow I like it! How did you get the colour - filter? Photoshop? do they actually illuminate the things like this? I suppose nothing is impossible in the US ;-)

 

Maybe a bit more detail in the big black part on the left would have improved the photo.

The Niagra falls is illuminated with multi colored lighting from 9 PM

till midnight presenting spectacular visions of the falls. The foam

due to the force of the mighty falls rise all the way up to the sky

like a column of smoke.

I wanted to clarify that no filter or photoshop software was used for this shot. A Nikon 50/1.4 was used at the lowest possible F number with a shutter speed of 1/250.
