Pentax 105mm SMC at f8 reverse mounted on extension tube #2. Bounce flash into silver Reflectasol. Metered with Gossen flashmeter. Gitzo 1325/Acratech ball head. Final editing and adjustment using Photoshop CS in Ektaspace.

Another macro experiment using bounce flash (an ancient Rollei e36re).

This was cropped from a larger image, which I will try to post for a

The strength of this photo lies in the color and lighting, I think. They give this great depth and richness.

Walter, I never heard of the flower or half the stuff you mentioned in your tech details, but who cares, the end result is very nice. I kinda like the dark areas in the right 1/3. Makes it a little different than the usual completely lit up flower macro. Nice work.
