I would like to know how this picture rates in terms of

originality, aesthetics and optimum use of available light/space. I

had to lie down on the ground to shoot the back of the flower which

was just about foot from ground.

Enjoyed seeing your image. George Lepp does a lot of this sort of thing too. Suggest you look into a Canon Verticle Finder for your camera, makes getting really low a lot easier.

i agree that this is a much stronger image than 'family', though i do not dislike the other one at all. this image posesses a solid compositional focus, where 'family' is a bit distracted. very nice job here.
