rkynast 1 Posted August 16, 2004 The sun behind them instead of in front - what a good idea. Nice work. Regards, Richard Link to comment
ddamian 0 Posted August 16, 2004 Nice dramatic low angle. I like the corona you created around the two sunflowers in the center by placing them between the camera and the sun. The moody atmosphere created by the dark foreground juxtaposed on the golden harvest-like sunset works very well in conveying the sadness of seeing the summer coming to an end. Great work, congratulations. Link to comment

gilbert_fortier 0 Posted August 16, 2004 Did you have to work a lot with PS to balance the highlights and the shadows? Because these scenes are usually "high contrast" and you either get a nice sky but a dark foreground, or a detailed foreground with a bleached-out sky... Or did you blend two differently exposed shots? The idea of getting the sun behind the sunflower is great. It's a nice subject with plenty of possibilities... Come visit my folder and feel free to comment the sunflower pictures I posted last week! Thanks! Link to comment
juan_david_martinez 0 Posted August 17, 2004 I like the juxtaposition of the real 'live' flowers to the droopy dying flowers. Colors are great, and the choice to have the sun in the background added to the mood. Nice work! Link to comment
