the cropping had concentrated the image only on the gorilla, this makes this a great shot. it becomes more than just a gorilla.

Great composition on this one. You really give a different perspective on gorillas with this shot. They are already like humans but this picture gives them a more human like personality. It actually looks like he/she posed for you. Good work.

Thank you all for the nice comments and ratings. I appreciated them. I took this gorrila photo in ARTIS Zoo Amsterdam, Holland. As we know the gorilla is a very sensitive animal and almost human, so sometimes he is in the mood for a photograph and sometimes not! I had to be very 'patient' inorder to get the shot and I was very pleased when I managed it.
