xue2004 0 Posted August 13, 2004 Hello everyone, I took the picture of her while I was passing by in Boston. Her expression made me click my shutter. Comments are welcome. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 13, 2004 Having the beer in colour takes the focus off the woman's distant gaze. Although I love beer, I think if you completely desaturated the entire image and cropped cleverly, you could make more out of her gaze in relation to the clever inclusion of the passerby in the window reflection... of course, if you'd like her to be pondering the mysteries of the beer she is drinking, then leave it as is ;-) Link to comment
xue2004 0 Posted August 13, 2004 Thanks. Your comments make me look at this photo in a new way. I will try to do the way you suggested, to get rid of some distracted unnecessary parts. Link to comment

raywei 0 Posted August 16, 2004 I agree with Andrew and Patrick. Also, it may help if you crop it tighter. Very nice try, though. I like the clarity of the image. Link to comment
xue2004 0 Posted August 16, 2004 Thanks. I will try to crop it tighter. I did not do it before is because I wanted to give her a more relaxed space but I can see now it also caused distraction to the theme. Thanks for all your comments. Link to comment
