morey_kitzman 0 Posted August 11, 2004 Thanks for your feedback. Is it too blue or too common? Link to comment
tabb 4 Posted August 11, 2004 I generally refrain from comment on flowing water long exposure shots. But this one feel s different to me, and I really enjoy the flowing blue water, broken only by the solid rocks. I think it is a nice use of colors to make a common style of photo have a dramatic flair, albeit a very mellow drama. Link to comment
j._scott_schrader 0 Posted August 13, 2004 I really like this rendition of the tired old cliche. It is just different enough to hold my attention. You composition is excellent and the color is not too blue in my opinion. I have seen blues like that when using Velvia. Nice Job! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 24, 2004 Ah but wrong, have a very similar shot but with sensia 100 slide. Maybe slightly different but very close. I thought the stream had magical lumination properties and i discovered sliced bread but guess its the film. Sure like the effect here but the composition doesn't say a whole lot. Pretty hard to shoot most of these places without the long exposure cause their inherently dark and need good dof being landscape, but thats something to keep in mind too, make the water secondary to the scene. http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2715581 Link to comment
