g2imaging 0 Posted August 10, 2004 A tad bit oversaturated on the blue makes the sky distracting from image. Link to comment
bens 0 Posted August 12, 2004 Hi pete -- this very interesting in composition, particularly the lines running along the stairs and the guiderails and along the ridge of the building. i like the saturation, but could use some more contrast and bit more brightness, though i can see you have to worry about the lower left being overexposed. and of course, being me, i'd try it in black and white. harlow_b._staley 0 Posted August 14, 2004 I'd like to see more detail above the right side of the window. At first I thought the upper wavy lines were shadows on a flat wall. Still 6/6 Link to comment
timw 0 Posted August 18, 2004 Hi Peter - Similar to Harlow initially I thought the wavey lines were shadows! Do like the strong shadows case by the stairs and the contrast of the incredibly blue sky 6/6 Link to comment
petejr 0 Posted August 18, 2004 I don't understand guys. The wavy lines are shadows??? Link to comment
bens 0 Posted August 18, 2004 its hard to tell at first, pete, i had to look twice to understand the wavy lines were more than shadows. Link to comment
petejr 0 Posted August 18, 2004 Ben, I guess that's a classic example of being there and relying on memory instead of looking at the image as it stands and how someone else would view it. Perhaps some detail in the shadows would clarify the image. Link to comment
