Red gum blue sky

ian cameron

The Olgas again. This time with a little red gum tree striving for life in the desert heat, positively glowing against the deep venuous blood coloured rock behind. I had to sprint into position to get this tree, rock and cloud formation aligned you can see more of my travel pictures at www.transientlight.co.uk

Well my last Olgas shot went down like a lead balloon!! Of course it

is easy to get carried away with the poster colours that you get

confronted with in the United States and Oz but here in Britain light

and colour of this intensity are less easy to find. Anyway hope you

like it.

i like the light but i find that the composition is slightly unbalanced....just my opinion no offence...

i would have prefered to see more of the lower part

No offence taken. The rest of the base was unfortunately in deep shadow but I kind of like the slightly unnerving composition. Very much in keeping with the eerie silence of this wonderful place.
