Wonderfully vivid colours

Super saturated; adds to the feeling that it is a photo of a butterfly superimposed on a photo of flowers.

May be a little bit to saturated to my taste but anyway a great shot.

It would be a great shot with the whole wings of this Papilio machaon. Unfortunately, broken wings are not so aesthetic for me, despite this wonderful colors. Best regards.

Nice detail on the butterfly. Is a Papilio Machoan the same as a swallowtail butterfly? Anyway I agree the shot would improve with wings that are whole particularly since that portion of wing is usually colorful on a swallowtail. Good choice of contrasting colors to make this pop.

I am very tempted to edit my previous comment and remove the "car" just for fun. Make people wonder. Humourous that I hit on a vocation without really trying though.

Great butterfly photo! It is shot just right with a bit of angle in the frame, and great color contrasts. Nice and sharp, with enough depth of field to keep the butterfly in focus across the wings. Great job on the "repair"...you are a good surgeon!
