Lighting seems harsh, her shoulder is blown out. Also, I wish she were peering into the black space, but it is effective as is. You have a very nice portfolio, I'm looking forward to more of your posts.

Allen, thank you very much for the feedback and comment about my portfolio. Regarding this photo I was surprised about the effect I've gotten. I was helping her building her Book, so I've taken many photos of her, I do know the light is not the best but I didn't want to retouch the photo.

Yes! now the horizontal format is perfect for the image, as well as her looking out of the frame (not at it). As someone mentioned, note the highlights (I?d rather underexposed a image on taking it, by this, it is easier to bring back the details). If you overexpose it, the info has gone...

Charo, you're right about overexposed. To be honest this photo came out of the blue. I was doing some shooting and decided to turn the flash off to see what type of pictue I was able to take. The result was increadible to me.
