Spider with an interesting web pattern

Please critique on depth-of-field, sharpness... light...

David, Great shot that, in my opinion, could be better if it had a lighter background to set the spider's dark parts off. Backgrounds always seem to do me in even though I try to make them #1 priority. Sometimes I forget in the excitement of the moment. Best, LM.

Nice shot of an argiope. Isn't it upside down though? They usually sit head down in the center of the web.
