A mill we visited while on vacation

I visited this mill on vacation in west virginia. I tried to frame it

with a backlit tree branch. I 'm a beginner (I'm 15) and I like some

advice on how the picture could have came up better.

Levi, I think you could crop the botton part of the photo. The white area is bad in your great composition. Nice composition.

I think less of the overhanging tree could help. The mill itself is in shadow, and the brightly lit branch is distracting. It could be interesting to frame this from a much lower position to get in less of the branch and more of the white water.
