Flower girl

I caught this in the rose garden at the L.A. Natural History Museum in

Exposition park. There were many wedding parties being photographed

there, while I just happened to be walking around and caught this one.

 

Any thoughts?

I love the contrast and detail of this shot. Im glad it was black and white. It would not have been as good in color.

As this is undoubtedly one of those "captured" shots, I appreciate that you were lucky to catch her stealing the flowers! The lovely face is just spectacular! You might try to burn in the top edge and down the side there on the left just a bit. Nice, Derek!

Oh so you know that picking the flowers at the rose garden is a no-no! Well since she will likely grow up to be rather beautiful I thought I could hold it over her later in life :-)

 

I've burned the unshaded grass on the top and left as much as possible. I'm not sure of any other technique to darken those sections without looking weird.

 

Suggestions?
