davidmalcolmson 0 Posted August 3, 2004 My eye was drawn by the ineraction of these two speakers. I sensed that the gentleman with the cap wasn't entirely comfortable in this exchange - the body language is defensive and guarded. The other man's expresion isn't visible but I get the impression his personality is the stronger of the two. Your comments would be welcome. Link to comment
scott_esposito 0 Posted August 3, 2004 That's quite a pair, isn't it! They look vaguely Austin Powersish. You've captured a nice moment in their lives and the expression on th face is particularly priceless. That guy on the right really detracts from the photo, in my opinion. The two gentlemen in the center have an interesting aesthetic going and the guy on the right ruins it (with is big fluffy hair and very un-Powerish looks). Unfortunately, he isn't in a position to be cropped out. Link to comment

hugh_hill 0 Posted January 26, 2005 Hi David, 'Speakers Corner' in Hyde Park if I am not mistaken if this was in the late seventies or very early eighties then I would say that I am sure that know the man on the left, he still attends every so often and still wears a hat and dress very similar ti this although he was sporting a beard the last time I saw him. lovely shot. 6/5 Regards Just got your e-mail David, Thank you for those kind words. With the man in question the age would be about right (he is about 57 now) I am just waiting to see him down S.C and will ask him, I will also try to dig out a photograph of him and make for certain it is the same man as I dont want to look foolish but when I locate it I will put it in my reportage folder for your attention. I love this type of photography as to me life is everything. Hugh Link to comment
