Low raters are ok...but it would be great if they were so generous to enlighten me with their superior knowledge and expertise in photography...or should we think that: who he can, he does...who he cannot, he rates (low and without explaining)...

Nice piece of landscape. The composition works for me, and the light too. The only concern here is, as someone pointed out, the too dark sky at the top. Besides that, nice image.

Very beautiful landscape, great lighting. At the first glance I was not sure about the "empty" center, but I think it works. Regarding low raters: its a pity its anonymous now, they feel free to give 1/1 without comment (got 1/1 myself on my last image)

Roberto, I feel like a broken record, that is continue saying: a beauty, a beauty...... so many times.... but thats what I think.( Most of the low raters are lausy photo takers....) Pnina

Fantastica la luce della sera, bellissimi verdi abbinati ai caldi toni della luce e di un cielo che sottolinea l'atmosfera serena. Grande!

I like that the sky is darker at the top ... the tonal differences make this a richer image. I also really like that there are lots of different textures and lines at the bottom ... you found an interesting spot to stand and capture perspective.

The only minor thing I would consider changing (assuming that this is close to your home) is to go back and try placing the horizon in different parts of the frame. Right now, you're almost exactly half and half. I'm not suggesting the formula 2/3 to 1/3 ... but I'd definitely like a little more land than sky. (That's just my own personal preference!)

Regards!! :-)

I think you are perfectly right. That place is quite near from my home and it wouldn't b a problem to take another shot. The problem is that there is an ugly fence just below my composition, which I wouldn't include. Maybe a crop of the sky can be a solution. Many thanks for the very useful comment!

Regards

So, Roberto ... are you telling me that you're such an ethical guy that you wouldn't jump the fence, even for just a couple of minutes, to get a different perspective? (Admittedly, I wouldn't either!!) :-D
