single photos A Picture of one of my Moroccan Uromastyx (female)...one of my more photogenic reptiles.

The dinosaurs are amongst us! OK, I'm just kidding, but I really like the pose ans composition. The reptile, which I guess is rather small, really looks huge and fierce on the picture. And it's got this odd gaze, I sort of expect it to actually tell me something. Well done.

This is my female Moroccan Uromastyx. The light source is a 160 watt

UVB/Heat incandescent lamp. The picture was taken with my nikon 995

while she was basking in her 2'x2'x1' enclosure. 1/30 @ f10.3

Great detail. Would've been good to get more light on his head and have his body recede a little.

I find it endlessly fasinating that in nature you can find every color known and this image shows this creatures glory to its best advantage. The use of natural props and the pure lighting are great.
